Before you finance a vehicle
- Compare offers from several licensed banks and finance companies, including all fees, not just the interest rate.
- Check the current loan-to-value limits for the vehicle type, as they change from time to time.
- For a leased vehicle, confirm with the lender how the lease can be settled or transferred before you agree to buy.
- Never pay a seller in advance to "release" a leased vehicle. Settle through the lender.
